Required Experience
On behalf of our client, we are currently searching for an experienced claims supervisor/manager; the ideal candidate will be an experienced claims profession dedicated to learning and expanding his/her knowledge base.
Responsibilities include:
- Management of multi-line claims including but not limited to commercial property, casualty and liability claims.
- Effectively manage a large pending of files.
- File auditing.
- Building and maintaining positive client relationships.
- Managing internal and external relationships.
- Writing reports.
- Attend industry functions.
Required skills and experience:
- Minimum seven years of commercial claims handling experience.
- Excellent communication skills are essential.
- The ability to adapt to changing environments.
- Must creative in approach to managing claims within specified guidelines.
- Prior experience marketing and developing relationships with vendors, brokers etc.
- Experience with contracts.
- Excellent time management skills are required to be successful in the role.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Able to perform in a highly structured and detail oriented environment.
- Strong general computer knowledge with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access and Outlook.

Educational Requirements
- A community college diploma or University degree is an asset.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Licensed or working towards CIP designation
