Job Description
On behalf of our client, we are seeking a Senior Specialty Lines Commercial Underwriter to:
Ensure all policies are issued within service standards with the appropriate wordings, schedules, and certificates attached.
Develop and maintain excellent working relationship with brokers and agents.
Provides exceptional customer service experience internally and externally handling incoming/outgoing calls and correspondence.
Works collaboratively with internal clients and team members to resolve broker, claims, pricing and accounting issues.
Manage and achieve excellent working relationship with brokers and agents. Track and produce daily, weekly and monthly production activity reports.
Provide direct assistance to the Underwriting Manager.

Required Experience
| • | A minimum of (8-10) years experience in Commercial Lines Underwriting, specialty lines required. |
| • | Possesses strong product knowledge and has thorough understanding of insurance policy wordings and the ability to make sound business decisions based on those wordings.

| • | Ability to effectively set priorities to meet deadlines. |
| • | Must be a team player with outstanding customer service skills. |
| • | Adaptable to a changing environment. |
| • | Solid knowledge of computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint. |

Educational Experience
| • | College or University education in a related field is required. |
| • | CIP designation or actively pursuing |
